Our family's favourite cake!
Three layers of our favourite chocolate cake, soaked with kirsch liqueur, and filled with cherries and fresh whipping cream. The top is decorated with in dark chocolate shavings.
Note: this cake does not have iced sides because it is layered with whipping cream which is not very stable. We add stability with a sheet of acetate around the cake, that you can remove before serving the cake. The top and sides are iced with berry swiss meringue buttercream and topped with a pool of chocolate ganache.
